Frequently asked questions
Which dryglove brands does Oyster Diving stock?
We stock drygloves and dryglove parts from SiTech and SANTI. SiTech covers the blue PVC gloves with liners and the silicone wrist seals; SANTI covers the SmartGloves ring set. Stock moves, so what is listed on this page is what is currently available.
Do drygloves come with everything I need to fit them?
It depends on the product. The SiTech blue PVC drygloves are sold as a pair with a liner included. The SANTI SmartGloves set is the ring hardware only - mounting ring, ring cover, locking ring and the two O-rings - and the gloves themselves are bought separately. Read the product page before you order so you are not left a part short.
Are SiTech silicone wrist seals sold in pairs?
No. SiTech silicone wrist seals are sold singly, so order two if you are replacing both wrists. We stock them in black, in small and standard sizes.
Can I glue silicone wrist seals to my drysuit?
No. Silicone seals cannot be glued and have to be installed with a modular quick-change cuff system. If your suit still has glued seals, the cuff conversion has to happen before silicone seals become an option. Ask us and we will talk you through what your suit needs.
Which SiTech dryglove fitting should I choose?
SiTech's blue PVC drygloves come in three fittings: standard, bottle neck, and extended cuff for a wrist ring. Which one you need is decided by what is already on your suit's wrists, not by preference. If you are not certain what you have, send us a photo of your cuffs and we will tell you which fitting matches.
