What SiTech supplies here

SiTech does not make drysuits. It makes the hardware that goes on them, which in this collection means the seals at the wrist and the gloves that attach to the cuff. That is all this page covers. The range at Oyster has been reduced to a handful of lines, so read it as the parts we actually keep rather than a full brand catalogue.

Everything here is a wear part. Seals perish and gloves get punctured, and both get replaced far more often than the suit they are fitted to.

Silicone wrist seals

The silicone seals are the alternative to latex. SiTech makes them from hypoallergenic silicone and puts the stretch at 40% more than latex, which is the point of them: easier donning, and no reaction for divers who cannot wear latex. They are also resistant to UV, ozone and chemicals, and carry an interior glide coating so your hand goes through cleanly.

How they fit

This matters more than the seal itself. Silicone cannot be glued to a suit. It has to go into a modular quick-change ring system, so the suit needs rings already fitted, or fitting. If your suit is running glued seals, silicone is not a straight swap.

Sizing and quantity

We hold them in black, in small and standard. They are sold by the piece rather than as a pair, so order two if both wrists are due.

Blue PVC drygloves

Three fittings, all in blue PVC, all supplied as a pair in medium, large or extra large. The bottle neck version and the standard version both come with a liner. The third is cut for an extended cuff or a wrist ring.

The fitting is the decision, not the size. A dryglove has to mate with whatever cuff or ring system is already on your suit, and the three versions are not interchangeable. If you are replacing a glove you already run, match the fitting you have rather than working from the picture.

Before you order

Look at your cuffs first. Work out whether you are on rings or glued seals, and if you are on rings, which system. That one check decides both which seal you can fit and which glove will mate with it.

Which drysuit seal and dryglove brands does Oyster Diving stock?

In this collection, one: SiTech. The range here has been cut back to the parts that move most often, which is why you will see silicone wrist seals and blue PVC drygloves and not much else. Treat it as a short, current list rather than the full SiTech catalogue, and ask us if there is a SiTech part you cannot see.

Can SiTech silicone wrist seals be glued to my drysuit?

No. SiTech is explicit that silicone seals cannot be glued in; they have to be installed with a modular quick-change ring system. If your suit currently has glued seals and no rings, converting it is a workshop job rather than something you can swap over at the dive site. Check what your cuffs are fitted with before you buy silicone.

Are the silicone wrist seals sold in pairs?

No. SiTech sells wrist seals by the piece, so order two if you are replacing both wrists. We stock them in black, in small and standard. The drygloves work the other way round and are supplied as a pair.

Which SiTech dryglove fitting do I need?

It depends on what is already on your suit. We stock three blue PVC gloves: a bottle neck version with liner, a standard version with liner, and one cut for an extended cuff or wrist ring. The glove has to match the cuff or ring system you are running, so identify that first. They are not interchangeable across fittings.

What sizes do the SiTech blue PVC drygloves come in?

Medium, large and extra large, supplied in pairs. Two of the three come with a liner included. You need room for that liner underneath, so if you are between sizes most divers go up rather than down.
