At its core, the regulator features Airmatic Technology. Thanks to this innovative system, mechanical parts are reduced and long-term reliability is increased.

Unlike conventional designs, the second stage has no wear-prone spring. Consequently, intermediate pressure controls the airflow and creates effortless, resistance-free breathing.

In addition, Mares’ signature VAD – Vortex Assisted Design keeps airflow powerful and direct. So, the regulator responds instantly to your breathing demand at any depth.

Meanwhile, the 88X TBP first stage completes the system. With the TBP Dry Kit installed, it performs consistently in icy water as well as silty environments.
