The Stealth 2.0 TEC is the sidemount rig you buy when the standard Stealth is no longer enough wing. XDEEP took the harness that made the Stealth 2.0 the default sidemount system in Europe and attached a larger bladder directly to it, so it will float heavy steel cylinders without the wing folding into a taco.
Sidemount lives or dies on harness fit. Get the spine weight pouch and the strap lengths right and the cylinders sit flat against your body and disappear. Get them wrong and you spend the dive fighting cylinders that want to swing.
Within our wings and harness systems this is the specialist end: bought deliberately, by divers who already know they want sidemount.

The spine weight pouch is the trim control
Sliding the pouch up or down the spine moves your balance point. This is how you stop feeling head-heavy or foot-heavy in sidemount, and it is the adjustment most new sidemount divers never touch. Set it in a pool, not on a wreck.
Why divers choose the Stealth 2.0 TEC
Enough lift for steel cylinders
The standard Stealth wing is sized for aluminium and lighter steels. The TEC version takes larger steel cylinders without leaving you short of lift at the start of a dive when everything is full and heaviest. If you dive UK steels in sidemount, this is the version you want.
The harness is the reason people buy XDEEP sidemount
Fully adjustable, and adjustable in the places that actually matter for cylinder position. Sidemount rigs are not interchangeable in fit, and the Stealth harness is the one most instructors we know have settled on.
Double-layer wing survives cave and wreck work
The outer layer takes the abrasion so the bladder does not. For a rig that gets dragged through restrictions, that construction is the difference between a season and several.
Serviced and set up in-house
Sidemount rigs need setting up on the diver, not out of a box. Like every wing system we sell, the Stealth 2.0 TEC can be serviced in-house at our UK dive centre, and we will rig and trim it with you.
Features that matter underwater
Wing attached directly to the harness
No separate backplate sandwich. It keeps the profile tight to your back, which matters in restrictions and is a large part of why sidemount divers choose this format in the first place.
Single base dump valve, with a port for a second
The base dump handles most venting in a horizontal trim. The spare port lets you add a second dump or move the inflation, so you can configure the rig around how you actually dive rather than how it shipped.
Adjustable spine weight pouch
Weight on the spine rather than a belt keeps it out of the way of the cylinders and lets you tune fore-and-aft trim precisely. It is the single most useful adjustment on the rig.
Pocket options at order
Pocket configuration is chosen when you buy. Think about what you carry before you order, because retrofitting is more expensive than choosing correctly now.
Sidemount needs training, not just kit
Buying a sidemount system without sidemount training is a recipe for a frustrating first few dives. Cylinder rigging, bungee tension and trim are all taught skills. If you have not done a course, talk to us about that before you talk to us about the rig.

Who it may not be for: single cylinder back-mount divers. This is a sidemount system and it will not serve you as a general BCD. If you want back mount, look at the NX Zen or the Zen Ultralight instead.
Setting it up
A sidemount rig is set up on the diver over the exposure suit they dive in. Nothing about that is optional.
- Fit the harness over your drysuit and undersuit, not over a t-shirt in a shop.
- Set the spine weight pouch position in a pool with the cylinders you actually dive.
- Set bungee tension so cylinders sit flat and parallel to your body, not splayed.
- Confirm you can reach and operate the base dump in horizontal trim before open water.
- Rinse and dry the wing inside as well as out if it has taken water.

Buy the Stealth from us and we will fit the harness, set the bungees and trim the weight pouch with you. It takes the best part of an hour and it is the difference between loving sidemount and giving up on it.

This is a specialist purchase and it should be. If you dive sidemount with steel cylinders in UK water, it is close to the default answer, and the harness is the reason.
