Halcyon Symbios Blue Handset Computer

The Symbios Blue is the straightforward way into Halcyon's Symbios system. It is a wireless, ultra-slim, glove-friendly wrist computer with a transflective colour display, built for training, travel and regular diving rather than the most complex setups.

It supports oxygen, nitrox and trimix, runs open circuit and fixed setpoint CCR modes, and fits into the wider Symbios ecosystem, including the Symbios Tank Pod. Halcyon sells it without a case.

Readable without fuss

The transflective display is readable in bright conditions without high brightness, with a large layout and extra data on separate pages.

Decompression you can see

A Gradient Factor chart shows the leading tissue compartment and how decompression is progressing, so you can follow your dive as it evolves.

Learn it before you get wet

Run every function from the mobile app on land, simulating depth, time, pressure and O2 cells, then practise in shallow water.

The 2-button interface gives tactile feedback, which helps when you are wearing thick gloves.

Trim monitoring is optional and needs a Tank Pod. The Blue does not connect wirelessly to rebreathers or to the Symbios CCR Pods. For wireless CCR data, choose the Silver.

Why choose the Symbios Blue

The Blue shares the Silver's screen, battery, algorithm and log, and works with the same Symbios Tank Pod, GPS Pod, DPV interface and app. The difference is rebreather integration. The Blue runs fixed setpoint CCR only: it does not connect wirelessly to a rebreather or a CCR Pod, and Halcyon says it cannot be upgraded to. If you dive a rebreather, or plan to, and want wireless monitoring, choose the Silver.

Spend over £100 with us and you can bring your new kit to one of our instructor-run pool sessions for free, to get confident with it. It is not one-to-one coaching, so you dive it yourself, and kit that has been in the water cannot be returned.

Frequently asked questions

"Why is there no case?"

Halcyon lists the Blue without one. The Silver configurations come with a case.

Can I add a Tank Pod?

Yes. Halcyon lists tank pods as part of the Symbios ecosystem the Blue works with, and trim monitoring is optional through the pod.

Can I use it on a rebreather?

In fixed setpoint mode only. The Blue does not connect wirelessly to a rebreather or a CCR Pod and cannot be upgraded to. For that, choose the Silver.
