The Apeks RK3 HD Fins are an enhanced version of the popular Apeks RK3 Fins. They feature increased stiffness for more power with every fin stroke. By using a stronger polymer, these fins deliver greater propulsion and improved efficiency. As a result, divers can move through the water faster with shorter strokes—saving both time and energy.

Developed in collaboration with Public Service Divers and the Apeks Commercial Team, the RK3 HD was built for tough operations. The design, which evolved from the classic Rocket Fins, was created to perform reliably in the harshest underwater environments. Whether you're exploring wrecks or diving in strong currents, these fins are up to the task.

Apeks RK3 HD Fins: Solid Rubber Construction

The fins are molded from solid rubber, with no hinges or weak points that could fail during a dive. Furthermore, their compact vented design has made them the standard-issue fin for military, coast guard, and public safety divers around the world. Professional and technical divers appreciate their durability and compact size, which makes them easy to transport and store.

Convenient Dual Hanging Loops

Each fin includes two large hanging loops. These allow for easy storage on pegs and hassle-free transport using karabiners, eliminating the need to modify the blade for attachment.

Efficient Vented Blade Design

The vented blades enhance performance by reducing ankle strain during the upstroke. At the same time, they increase thrust on the downstroke by channeling water and minimizing drag. This reduces vortex formation behind the fin, improving stability and propulsion.

Note: The HD version looks identical to the standard RK3 fins. To confirm the version, check for the small number "70" stamped inside the foot pocket.
