The Apeks TEK3 Regulator Set is specifically designed for use with twinset configurations, offering a range of benefits for technical divers. Apeks has developed these first stages to minimize the risk of accidental snagging, prevent hose kinking, and ensure easier access to manifold valves. These first stages are robust, over-balanced, and suitable for cold water diving. They also provide a streamlined and snag-free hose positioning, making them versatile for use in twinset, single-cylinder, or stage-cylinder setups.

Apeks TEK3 Regulator Key Features:

• Optimized for Twinset Use: The Apeks TEK3 first stages are tailored for twinset diving. The ports are oriented in a way that ensures all hoses route downward, providing the streamlined configuration that technical divers require.
• Diver Changeable Exhaust System (DCE): The Apeks TEK3 features the innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system, which allows divers to switch between a small exhaust tee and a large exhaust tee. This gives users the option of a wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference, crucial for underwater photography, or a narrower exhaust tee for a compact and comfortable regulator. The set includes both sets of exhaust tees.
• Right-Handed or Left-Handed Configuration: The second stage of the Apeks TEK3 can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration to a left-handed one. This process should only be performed by an APEKS Authorized Service Technician.
• DIN Connection: The Apeks TEK3 is available with a DIN connection.
• Cold Water Performance: These regulators excel in cold water conditions (below 10°C / 50°F), making them suitable for a wide range of diving environments.
• Compatible with EAN40: The Apeks TEK3 is compatible with EAN40 (Enriched Air Nitrox with 40% oxygen) out of the box.

The Apeks TEK3 First Stage Specifications

The Apeks TEK3 comes with two TEK3 first stages. These first stages are designed specifically to be left-handed and right-handed for twinsets.

• Chrome over marine brass First Stage Exterior

The Apeks TEK3 Second Stage Specifications

The Apeks TEK3 comes with two Apeks XTX50 second stages. These second stages are designed to be left-handed and right-handed.

• Pneumatically balanced second stage
• Opening Effort Control Knob
• Integrated Venturi Lever
• Comfo-bite Mouthpiece
• Exhaust Tee: Diver Changeable - comes with 2 sets
• Heat Exchanger for freezing resistance
• Compatible with nitrox for up to 40% O2 when new (out of the box), and can be O2 cleaned to 100%.
