Aqualung Rogue BCD Package: Apeks EVX200 + Octopus + Gauge
This package pairs the Aqualung Rogue BCD with the Apeks EVX200 regulator, its octopus and an Apeks pressure gauge, as one fixed rig at one price. It is a light, travel-friendly BCD matched to the best-breathing regulator Apeks makes, and it suits the diver who wants one kit for holidays and the odd UK weekend.
The two suit each other because both are about fit and tidiness. The Rogue's modular straps let us fit the BCD to your body rather than asking you to settle for a standard size, and the EVX200 has a first stage with its ports angled where the hoses need to go. You get back inflation for better trim, a regulator you will not outgrow, and a rig that takes far less room in a suitcase than most.
The package comes with a DIN regulator, an alternate air source and an Apeks pressure gauge. Choose your Rogue size and colour above. If you're unsure of your size, we'll fit it in store.
What's in the package
- Aqualung Rogue BCD, in the size and colour you choose
- Apeks EVX200 first stage, DIN 300 bar
- Apeks EVX200 second stage
- Apeks alternate second stage (octopus)
- Apeks pressure gauge with high-pressure hose
Not included: cylinder, dive computer and weights.
Why this pairing works
Back inflation trim at travel weight
At under 2.2kg, with air behind you rather than around your waist, the Rogue puts you flat in the water and leaves real room in a baggage allowance. Divers moving from a jacket BCD usually notice the difference in trim on the first dive.
Hoses that stay tidy on a light BCD
A stripped-back BCD has fewer places to park things. The EVX200 first stage has five medium-pressure ports and two angled high-pressure ports, so the octopus, inflator hose and gauge sit close to the body, and the Rogue's octopus holder keeps the alternate where you can find it.
One rig for a UK winter and a warm water trip
The EVX200 first stage is environmentally sealed and over-balanced, with an Auto Closure Device that keeps water and grit out between dives, and the second stage has a heat exchanger. That is the specification that matters in British water, and it is just as happy in warm. Be straight with yourself about lift, though: the Rogue's 15 litres suits a wetsuit and an aluminium cylinder.
Easier to kit up on a boat
The SureLock II weight system releases with a single pull, and the GripLock tank band has a finger-saver so you do not trap a hand on a rocking deck. The EVX200's double swivel hose lets the second stage follow your head. Together they take some of the wrestling out of kitting up.
Who this package is for
- Travelling divers who need to save baggage weight
- Divers who have never found a BCD that fits properly
- Anyone moving from a jacket BCD towards better trim
- Divers who want the most refined Apeks regulator, not just a tough one
- Divers who want one rig for holidays and occasional UK diving
Who it may not be for: regular UK drysuit divers carrying steel cylinders. Fifteen litres of lift is tight for that, and a backplate and wing such as the Zeos 38 and EVX200 package is the better route. If you value ruggedness over refinement, the Rogue and MTX-RC package is the tougher build.
Set up, tested and serviced in-house
Every package is put together by our own team before it leaves. We set the Rogue's ModLock configuration to your body, connect the BCD's own inflator hose, route the regulator hoses and gauge, check the intermediate pressure and breathe-test the regulator. Both the BCD and the regulator can be serviced in-house at our UK dive centre afterwards, so neither waits in a distributor's queue.
Coloured Miflex hoses can be chosen on the product page as an optional upgrade. Customers spending over £100 can also try their kit in the water at one of our five pool sites for free, with instructors present, which is the sensible way to settle your weighting before open water.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose my Rogue size?
Pick your size and colour above. If you're unsure, tell us your height, chest size and usual exposure suit, or come in and we'll fit it. The Rogue's ModLock connectors mean we can swap shoulder and waist components so it sits on you properly, rather than riding up or gaping.
Is the EVX200 in this package DIN or yoke?
DIN, rated to 300 bar. The package has no yoke option. DIN is the standard for most UK cylinders, and if you travel to destinations that use yoke valves, a DIN-to-yoke adapter covers you.
Why choose this package over the Rogue and MTX-RC package?
The EVX200 breathes slightly more smoothly and has far better hose routing. The MTX-RC is built tougher for the harshest conditions. Both are properly cold water rated, so choose on whether you value refinement or ruggedness.
Can I use this package for UK drysuit diving?
The regulator is ready for it, with an environmentally sealed first stage and a heat exchanger on the second stage. The BCD is the limit: 15 litres is marginal with a drysuit and a steel cylinder. For a wetsuit or an aluminium cylinder it is fine, and if your diving is mostly UK drysuit, ask us before you order.
Does the package include a gauge or dive computer?
The gauge is included: an Apeks pressure gauge with its high-pressure hose, fitted to the first stage. A dive computer isn't included. The EVX200's angled high-pressure ports suit an air-integrated transmitter, and we can fit one when you buy it.
Buying the Rogue and EVX200 package
This is the rig we recommend to travelling divers who want a regulator they won't need to replace. The Rogue is light, well specified and fits properly, and the EVX200 is a UK-made regulator that breathes beautifully and keeps its hoses tidy.
As a package, it arrives set up and tested as one rig, gauge included, ready to dive. The one thing to be honest with yourself about is lift, so if your diving is UK drysuit and steel, talk to us first.
